When trying to promote new products and product lines many stores will use point of sale displays to draw attention to the featured items. It is a great way for companies to get their products noticed and oftentimes provide a great buy for individuals buying the items. Many times the goods that are displayed are on put on sale as another way to draw people in.
One product line that has a great POS marketing strategy is the ELF makeup and applicator line. ELF is an inexpensive line of cosmetics and makeup applicators. Their particular line offers a variety of eye shadow colors which vary from funky, cool to sophisticated and stylish. Without the use of POS marketing many companies would never have their names recognized and a great many products would go unnoticed. If the ELF product line hadn’t used the POS marketing technique than many consumers would never have discovered a truly great product that is affordable on any budget.
